Winter is almost here, and it’s getting really cold. Is your home ready for winter? Here’s a quick checklist to make sure. This list includes checking your heating system, putting your air conditioner to bed and inspecting the chimney. Also make sure you insulate yourself, plug the leaks and proof the roof. I know it’s a lot of work, but trust me, it is well worth it. You know the old saying about a stitch in time saving nine. Being prepared is way, way better than being caught wrong-footed in a bitterly cold winter, and frantically trying to fix things. The hassle is greater, and it costs more. too. So go ahead and note down that check list and get cracking! There isn’t a moment to lose.
